Charles G. Albert
Charles G. Albert’s practice includes trial and appellate work at both state and federal levels in the areas of administrative regulations, banking, contracts, class actions, copyrights and trademarks, computer hardware and software design, insurance defense, products liability, utilities, employment and general commercial litigation.
Prior to becoming a principal in the firm, Mr. Albert was a partner at Bell, Boyd & Lloyd where he had practiced since 1979. He practiced in the General Litigation and Insurance Litigation Departments and was Secretary of the firm’s Executive Committee.
Mr. Albert graduated from the Harvard Law School in 1979, and did his undergraduate work at Princeton University, earning his AB cum laude. He is licensed to practice in the Supreme Court of the United States, the Supreme Court of Illinois, the United States Courts of Appeals for the Second and Seventh Circuits, and the United States District Courts for the Northern and Central Districts of Illinois, the District of North Dakota, and the Northern District of Texas. Mr. Albert is a member of the American, National, Cook County and Chicago Bar Associations. He has been a member of the Trial Bar in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois since 1983.
